What are the stages when working with My Flower Patch for your wedding flowers?
So, we’ve been in touch.
You like my style of naturally arranged wedding flowers. Simple beauty, with an eco-friendly background. Created using British-grown flowers, and sustainable floristry techniques.
You’ve filled out my contact form and given me some key information (if you’ve not got to that stage yet then pop me an email
You’re getting married in Wiltshire, or maybe in a neighbouring county like Somerset, Berkshire or Hampshire.
I’ve checked my diary and I’m available for your date.
What happens next? You book in for a chat - usually via video. I learn all about your wedding style, and the look you are dreaming of. I share inspiration photos, & you can share inspo photos if you have them. I can also make suggestions based on my previous experiences. I make a note of any arrangements that you like, the style of wedding bouquet that made you smile, or the little touches that brought a twinkle to your eye. I can explain the ways I use eco-friendly techniques, and how and why I only use British-grown flowers and foliage and no floral foam in my wedding and event floristry.
Then I go away and draw up a personalised quote as a starting point. I also create a mood board, which shows some of the photos you liked. Together we will tweak the ideas to suit you and your unique day. If you choose to book with My Flower Patch I require a non-refundable booking fee to secure the date in my diary. And then we chat again around 8 weeks before your wedding. You can, of course, get in touch in between, but I find most couples like knowing that the booking is sorted, and then they can finalise the details once they are much closer to the wedding date.
Your final payment is due 6 weeks before your big day.
Btw - you don't need to know the names of the flowers...you can leave all that stuff to me.
It really helps if you have an idea of what you are comfortable spending before we meet on video so that I can tailor the ideas I suggest to you and your wedding budget.
If that sounds like it might work for you then do get in touch, so we can chat about your Wiltshire, Hampshire, Somerset or Berkshire wedding, and you can see how excited I get on Zoom calls talking about flowers!
